Course 2020-120 : Marine Security Program Management

Target customers: Marine Facility Security Officers who are already certified and wish to improve their methods within the framework of program management

Goals: Understand how to group and coordinate security critical items into a Security Program to facilitate the management and planning of security activities and to maximize the use of human and financial resources during its implementation.

Contents: The Security Management Program prioritizes the following themes:

Security assessments and verifications (audits), the structure of the security plan, inspections and remedies in the event of violations, drills and drills, responsibilities of security officers, access control and monitoring procedures, security passes and clearances, record keeping, management incidents and Marsec level changes, communications and contingency planning, business continuity plans and resilience.

Terms

  • Duration: one day (7 hours);
  • Minimum of 6 people and maximum of 12;
  • Certificate of participation in an upgrade as a Maritime Security Officer;
  • Operational reference tools;
  • Training on the work location when possible;
  • For logistical purposes, lunches are usually included in the training package as well as beverages during coffee breaks.

It is understood that, when necessary, travel and accommodation costs as well as room and equipment rental will be established in advance.
