Course 2020-160 : Maritime Security Awareness

Target customers: Marine facility personnel without security responsibilities, but which gravitate in the entourage of personnel involved in maritime security is: personnel administration, communications and information technology personnel and computer technicians, staff of the service companies, trade union representatives, municipal officials, members of the police and fire departments, members of the emergency department, etc.

Contents: The awareness session includes a workshop and the following security themes are prioritized:

The objectives of maritime security, the maritime transport system, the basic elements of a security plan, the responsibilities of security officers, the meaning of the different Marsec levels, the security structure on ships, access control and surveillance procedures, passes, identification of security threats, inspections and remedies in the event of violations, communications and emergency plan, procedure in the event of a bomb threat and the evacuation plan.

Terms

  • Duration: 3.5 hours;
  • Minimum of 10 persons and maximum of 20;
  • The attestation of participation in a group session for marine security awareness;
  • Marine security awareness session provided on the work place when possible.
