Summary

ISPS Solution Inc. has delivered hundreds of training sessions over the past ten years and continues to offer its security services throughout Quebec. Our firm presents itself as a leader in the maritime industry in maritime security, and 2024 marks the eighth consecutive year of offering specific security training to operators at the Port of Montreal.

New maritime security instructor

024 also recalls the arrival of a seasoned instructor in the field of multimodal transport security (maritime, air, and rail) who is also accredited by the Commission des Partenaires du Marché du travail as an approved trainer in specialized training.

This means that the amounts allocated by the industry for training offered by Solution ISPS Inc. meet legal requirements and are eligible as expenses provided for by the Skills Act, commonly known as the 1% Law.

Annual Safety Program

In addition to available security training and services, our clients' requests in 2024 are increasingly geared toward developing customized annual security programs. Several reasons could explain this trend, but the most likely one remains a shortage of personnel.

Based on the findings of a functional analysis, this Security Program is an exclusive product of Solution ISPS Inc. Unique on the market, it remains a valuable and highly valued tool for establishing realistic procedural management of companies' compliance levels with regulatory requirements.

New training for security agents at the Port of Montreal

New provisions of the Canada Marine Act allow enforcement officers of Canada Port Authorities to issue fines within their jurisdiction. By delegation of responsibilities, certain security officers will be able to enforce these new powers.

A specific training program for Port of Montreal security officers was developed to address these new responsibilities, and Solution ISPS Inc. was mandated by the Montreal Port Authority to develop the pilot project with members of the port's security team and Transport Canada.

Website of Solution ISPS inc.

With the new international orientation set since the beginning of 2024, the website has not been updated due to major corrections that needed to be made too frequently. This situation, which has persisted for too long, will be resolved with the arrival of the new information structure designed to represent our current and future path.
